VW GTi W12-650 Last-Minute Concept
Powerful little car, except it turns like shit and, lets face it, its a "Golf". Cool non-the-less, figuring they took some parts from 3 pretty pro cars...
Beast XBOX PC Case Mod
This is a "Hackintosh" for video editing, all, including the XBOX, was less than half the price of the equivalent Mac. $1,500 for this vs. $4,500 for the Mac Pro at same specs.

Ray's Burger King Challenge
We initiated this challenge during a lunch break and since Ray is such a big gamble-head, he decided to bet against us, with his own dignity and stomach, the number of regular burger king whoppers he can consume at one given time.
here is how things gonna be played out:
first, I invite you all to participate the poll and decide a reasonable number.
then, if Ray can top this number, we will agree to cover the expenses of those burgers that he consumed, otherwise, he will pay for himself.
basically, Ray will either pay for food that he eats(which is how society works) or get a free lunch. In either way, he is the winner, but mind you that there's also the risk that he may kill himself during the process.
if you are in, please respond to this post and be ready to pay or make him pay.

Internet Lies
So I am in to a bit of photogayrphy as you all might know.
There's this guy on St. Catherine who plays drums on the street and earns some cash. I took a picture of him once:
Picture on my Flickr Stream

When I was taking his pictures, I was also "interviewing" him in a conversation which went like:
-So when do you play?
"Saturdays and Sundays"

"I am at home..drunk"
"I am at home..drunk"
- So just two days..that's it??
"I have a studio..and a band.."
"I have a studio..and a band.."
-Ah ok..so how can I send you these pictures?
"Add me on facebook! Richard Baxter..you'll find me.."
-Cool story brah...have a good night.
Anyway... after many weeks, he commented on the flickr photo page..and it seemed like he was hatin'. He also deleted my post on his facebook wall. Surely I have to cut myself now.

Fuck Buffalo Technology
After a back and forth regarding RMA policy and shipping charges with a mod / support agent at Buffalo on their forums, I posted this as a reply:
I live in Montreal, Canada and I have to ship it to Texas, USA. I paid $22.50 after tax for the RAM. The cheapest shipping rate I've found to ship a box (as is required by the RMA procedure) will come out to about $15 before tax at my local Purolator. It will cost about $10 before tax to ship it in an envelope, but then it might get rejected by Buffalo for not being "secure shipping container". So, at best, I have to pay 50% of the original cost of the RAM in order to get a new stick, but it's not even my fault the RAM was faulty. It's Buffalo's! Why does more money have to come out of my pocket when the fault lies entirely on Buffalo's side?
I have been building PCs for years now, and I have yet to run into a company that makes consumers pay for the RMA shipping of products that are in warranty. Furthermore, I have told this story to several friends and every single one of them was taken aback by the idea of having to pay for the shipping on an RMA when the device is defective, which is the company's fault. Why would I buy Buffalo RAM when I can spend $5 more and get another company's RAM that at least has a real, completely covered, warranty? The $5 premium is well worth the ease of the RMA process, with it being free and all.
Basically, regardless of whether this RMA process has been working since 1991, the process itself is outdated and not on par with competing companies. Look, by not covering my $20 shipping, Buffalo not only lost me as a customer, but any of my friends that I inform. Unless Buffalo is planning on having enough defective units to make this scheme worth it, its not a good business model for providing customer satisfaction.
Not to mention, deleting my initial post and banning me. Twice.
-Mike
And they responded with this:

For the 3rd time. Stay classy Buffalo.
