Consumers Share Sony's ButtRape™ Hurt From PSN Attack
To summarize these events:

Or as a list:
1. Sony removes a feature from people's PS3's and gets away with this violation of consumer rights.
2. People who used the now-removed OtherOS (aka, "Them Hackers") try to make CFW to bring it back.
3. Sony sues one of "Them Hackers" for poking bus lines on his PS3.
4. Anon puts on its masks and loads up their DDOS scripts.
5. "Them Crazy Hackers", a subset of "Them Hackers", use the Rebug CFW to turn their PS3's into Sony Dev Boxes, get clearance into the PSN, dig around and find PSN user info. Leave behind Anon tagged file.
6. Sony shuts down PSN for 4 weeks.
7. Some Black Ops PS3 players buy 360s, those with no more money, or who got credit card frauded, kill themselves.
8. Capcom games owners fidn they can't play their games offline due to Capcom's DRM which requires a connection to Campcom PSN servers. (aka, DRM fucks loyal customers again.)
9. Sony bring PSN back online and offer 2 free downloadable games from PSN and other free stuff, but no one cares, since Black Ops add-ons and map packs are not part of the Goodwill package.
10. Minecraft players carried on without the slightest care or idea of any of this.

Funny how the 360 has been hacked for the longest time, but a simple banhammer policy is able to keep piracy at bay without needing to have Anon DDOSing them or handing out their customers' credit card numbers.
TLDR: Was playing Minecraft. PSN wut?
